It is with a heavy heart that I will have to say “so long friend till we meet again” within the next week. I appreciated your counsel, your firm belief in me that I would do a good job for the MRF and for Abate of Ohio. So thank you for always being my cheerleader and giving me a hug & kiss! I will now never forget the hug & kiss when I saw you last Saturday. You were a good friend to myself and Bob. Abate of Ohio as we know it will never be the same but I know that you would want all of us to put our big girl panties on, suck it up, and keep fighting and that is what I will do.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of us Freedom Fighters but especially his wife Kay, Son Harley, Daughter in law Nicole and that sweet sweet Grandson Levi. He was over the moon in love with that baby, you could see it on his face and every word he spoke. May God hold you and comfort you today and all the days ahead. May you know that Mike is never really gone, he is with you in your heart and memories.
