The Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF), joined by a coalition of over 50 motorcyclists’ rights organizations and small businesses, recently sent a letter to Representative Andre Carson of Indiana thanking him for his leadership during the United States House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure markup of the highway bill.
During the committee debate, Congressman Carson offered an amendment and delivered thoughtful remarks in support of protecting motorcyclists from unfair profiling. His comments highlighted the importance of individual liberty, equal treatment, and respect for all road users.
As a former law enforcement officer, he brought a unique and credible voice to the discussion, one that resonated with riders not only in Indiana but across the country. His willingness to speak up sent a powerful message and all bikers would be grateful.
The MRF appreciates Rep. Carson’s commitment to America’s motorcycling community and looks forward to continuing to work together on issues impacting the rights and freedoms of riders nationwide.
