ABATE of Ohio, Inc., Region Zero
Geauga County
| 4/5/07 Ed Zwolinski Geauga county Coordinator It sure looks like it’s going to be a busy summer, there is a lot going on already. I hope everyone got their bike finished in time for the season. I have seen a few boys out there already. Every month this season there is an event to go to. Make sure to make it out to one and have fun while supporting A.B.A.T.E. We are trying to make it a turn around year and can sure use your support. On Saturday, April 28, 2007 is the Spring Fling and Swap Meet. On Saturday May 5th, 2007 is the Motorcycle Awareness Day Ride in downtown Columbus. But the most important event is the next Geauga County Region Zero meeting at Hickory Lake Inn,14592 Stone Rd.,Newbury, Ohio, Wednesday, April 11th, 2007 at 6:30p.m.. Attendance has been low so we would like to open up ideas of different times and dates for our monthly meetings. Please feel free to email me with any ideas or suggestions at edwardz@nls.net. We are only as strong as our members because without you, we are nothing. Don’t forget to check out our new website at www.regionzero.abate.com Our Secretary Renee was not available for our meeting last month and there will not be any minutes. If you want any information on what was reviewed please feel free to contact me or come to the next meeting and I will catch you up. |

| 3/807 Ed Zwolinski Geauga county Coordinator Because of the bad weather I canceled the last meeting, so in this newsletter there will be no minutes. Now that the weather is starting to break, we need to think about making sure that your motorcycle is going to be ready when the first sign of good weather comes around. You don’t want to be sitting around at the last minute and watching other riders going by. I know because I’m one of those procrastinators. At the I X CENTER we handed out a lot of flyers, and talk to a lot of people. It was interesting to hear what other people had to say and that most have never heard of us. That is why we need to go out there and talk to other riders. Just think, if we get one person to join a month, that’s 12 new members. Don’t forget to check out the flyers and checking the events in this newsletter for more information on what is coming up. |

| 2/2/07 Hey Guys, First I have to say BRR! it sure is cold outside. We have to be positive and remember all the good and warm times we had last year and be positive that the warmth will come back. We have some event’s coming up soon so be sure to check them out on the upcoming event’s page of the newsletter. I have to make an official Congratulation to Eric “OT” Beight for becoming the new Regional Director. The first new one in 12 years, maybe some new ideas from him will bring some new insight that we have thought of before. Some new information that everyone should know about is that A.B.A.T.E. now has a credit card machine thanks to Eric. He will be accepting membership dues (new or renewal) via the credit card machine. I also would like to make the official congratulations to the new and withstanding officer’s from the Geauga County elections. Please let me know if I can email you this newsletter. Stay Warm ED |

1/1/07 Hi everyone !!! Happy 2007, while 2006 was an interesting year I am looking forward to all the changes 2007 has brought already. The elections are over and we have some new officers. The new regional director is Eric “OT” Beight. On the local level we have a couple of changes also. The first change is the Deputy Coordinator who is going to be Mike Zbozien he is going to be doing a duel roll and also be the Treasurer. We have a new member, Renee Zwolinski, that is going to be our new Secretary, she has signed on to take over for Kim Slusher. The annual Bike Show at the I-X Center is coming up January 26th – 28th and I have been told that A.B.A.T.E. is going to have a booth there. I know there is going to be a need for help to run the booth. Please contact me if you will be attending and would like to help, and I will help you get into contact with the right personal. Have a great year. |
